Oryx Bank is the brainchild of Vera Shokina, a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank. She wanted to explore the depth of possibilities in providing innovative banking solutions to its customers with a focus on digital technology and customer experience.
The name "Oryx" was chosen as a representation of the bank's strength, elegance, and resilience. Oryx Bank is designed to be an significant player in the WEB3 economy, which is the next generation of the internet and includes blockchain, cryptocurrency, and decentralized finance (DeFi). They had a particular focus on providing these innovative banking services within the UAE.
We embarked on a full-scale brand design sprint with Oryx Bank, aiming to create an identity that was both culturally resonant and distinctively modern.
Oryx Bank emerged with a robust and culturally attuned brand identity, ready to establish its foothold in the Middle East’s banking sector. The new brand was not just a visual symbol but a narrative of strength, trust, and innovation.
